CM Balochistan and Adviser on Local Government Discuss Development and Political Affairs

 

Quetta, August 27, 2025 — Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, held a meeting with Provincial Adviser for Local Government, Nawabzada Amir Hamza Zehri, at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the current political situation, ongoing development projects, and matters related to the Local Government Department in detail.

Adviser Nawabzada Amir Hamza Zehri briefed the Chief Minister on the performance of the Local Government Department and highlighted the progress of ongoing development works. He emphasized that the department is working tirelessly to ensure the provision of basic facilities to the people across the province, directly at their doorstep.

He further stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and in line with the vision of the Pakistan Peoples Party, local bodies are effectively carrying out development initiatives. Nawabzada Amir Hamza Zehri also added that effective measures are being taken under the current fiscal year’s budget to complete comprehensive development projects, ensuring timely resolution of public issues.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti appreciated the efforts of the Local Government Department and assured full government support for the timely completion of ongoing projects.

District Chairman Khuzdar, Haji Salahuddin Zehri, was also present during the meeting.
